Sick Child and No Cash? Get a Payday Loan to Pay for the Medicine

Any parent who’s had a sick child knows how stressful it can be. All you want to do is help your child feel better, but sometimes you really can’t do that very well. There is only so much you can do to take away the pain, fear and discomfort. The older the child the easier it can be to explain to them why they feel the way they do, but it still doesn’t help them get better faster. What they need is the proper medicine, but if you’re living payday to payday, you might not have any extra money left to help them until you are paid again.

Because no parents want to see her child suffer, there are options. One of those is to get a payday loan. When you do, you’ll be able to get money within as little as 24 hours. Then you can use that money to get the medicine your child needs – and you can just pay it back when you are paid. Having the money you need when you need it is so important. That’s especially true if the over-the-counter medications aren’t enough and you need to get a prescription for your child to feel better. Ear infections, for example, are very common in young children. They usually require a prescription antibiotic to clear them up.

These can cost money, but your child has to have them, or the infection can just get worse. Fever, crying, and pulling on the ears, as well as potential drainage from the ears, are all common symptoms. If your little one is sick, taking him or her to the doctor should be first on your list – and money shouldn’t be an issue. Just knowing that there are options for you to pay for your child’s medication can help you have peace of mind.

Detecting Phoniness is Harder in Prescriptions than Car Insurance

When you are shopping for car insurance, it is easy to spot the difference between a policy that is real and one that is fake. When you are working in a pharmacy, spotting the difference between a real and phony prescription is far more difficult to do. People who are users or sellers of prescription drugs have been doing this for a long time, and they are good at what they do.  In order to catch them, you have to look at some signs of a phony medication order. Here are three of those signs.

DEA Number

Many addicts will try and call in the medication over the phone. If this happens, you can simply ask them for the doctor’s DEA number. There are times when the addict will have it, but there are other times when they won’t. If they don’t have it, then it’s a clear indication that you shouldn’t be selling to them.

Distance

Generally, an addict will take a stolen prescription pad and go to a pharmacy far away.  They do this to avoid pharmacies that are familiar with the doctor who’s pad they are using.  This scam and can work from time to time, but a common mistake these users make is that they don’t give an nearby address.  If you get a user who comes from far and has a distant doctor, it is probably a good idea to give that doctor a call to find out more about the situation.

Doubting

Sometimes, everything can be done right, but it’s just a feeling you have. If this is the case there is no problem calling the doctor’s office to verify the prescription.  The reputation and the license of your pharmacy is always at stake, so be careful.

Monitoring Silver Prices Helps With Investment Strategies

Commodities like silver and gold always remain a popular investment option for people who want the security of investing in something of value. The precious metals have a variety of uses, increasing the demand for them. Silver is especially attractive to investors, because it appears as though there is a limited supply of silver left in the world. According to reports, the mining of silver is producing less and less, while manufacturers are finding more and more uses for the metal. Mining operations have yet to uncover new mines. The lack of silver recycling that occurs only further enhances the appeal of silver as an investment.

One downside to investing in silver is the fluctuation in price for the precious metal. These fluctuations cause investors to view silver as a volatile market. Should this prevent you from investing in silver? The answer is no. If you monitor silver prices, you can improver your investment strategies. Having a volatile market means there are days when the price for silver dramatically drops. There have been times in recent years when silver reached all time lows. The important thing for an investor to remember is that silver rarely stays low for a long period of time. By purchasing silver during a low pricing time frame, you can increase your potential yield. As with other investments, you want to buy low and sell high.

There are several ways you can monitor silver prices, but one of the most common ways is to watch online indexes for silver prices. These indexes keep tabs on the fluctuating price of silver, sometimes offering updates minute by minute. Some investment strategies will compare current trends to past ones and recommend the ideal time to purchase silver. You can take these recommendations into consideration as you watch silver prices, waiting for the opportune time to buy or sell.

FDA Panel Upholds Safety of Avandia

It has been one of the most popular of all prescription drugs, but the use of Avandia by Diabetes patients has been under close examination after it was linked to heart disease. Government experts have been examining the safety of Avandia and, so far, they are recommending that it remain available for sale in the United States. In the latest vote, an FDA panel of experts voted 20-12 against pulling Avandia from the market.

Avandia is made by GlaxoSmithKline and sales of this drug generate hundreds of millions of dollars each year. The British drug maker says it is one of the most studied of medications of all time, but critics say the size of the initial studies were too small to be trusted. The problem with the drug – according to many doctors – is that it can result in severe fluid retention. Severe fluid retention may lead to shortness of breath and heart trouble.

The FDA panel which has not restricted the sale of Avandia in the U.S. does encourage more informed and inclusive warning labels on the prescription drug. The final decision on the fate of Avandia has not been made yet, but the FDA rarely goes against the recommendation of the scientific panels that are assembled to examine a drug. The manufacturer says Avandia remains an excellent option for type 2 diabetics trying to keep their blood sugar under control thereby avoiding daily injections of insulin.

Avandia comes with a number of warnings that it may not be suitable for all diabetics. A person who suffers from a heart arrhythmia should not be prescribed Avandia – according to GlaxoSmithKline. According to the manufacturer, “Avandia can cause or worsen heart failure.” The manufacturer also warns patients on Avandia to notify their doctors of sudden weight gain or severe swelling in their ankles or feet.

The Appeal of the Electronic Cigarette

Not many persons may have heard of it, but the electronic cigarette has its fans. It is also known by other names such as e-cig, e-cigarette and personal vaporizer. An electronic cigarette gives smokers what they crave without affecting others. These devices are battery operated, but otherwise have most of the features of real cigarettes.

They deliver nicotine just the same as a regular cigar or cigarette. The nicotine is inhaled as a vapor. It is released manually or automatically depending on the type of device being used. The manual type needs the smoker to press a button to release the nicotine vapor. The automatic type is triggered by the smoker pulling on the mouthpiece, which gets a sensor to work.

There are different types of electronic cigarettes. Some look just like a regular cigarette, pipe or cigar. Others are designed to look like a ballpoint pen. Some are reusable while others are disposable. The cartridges can be flavored as well to give different tastes.

Part of the appeal of these devices is the freedom it gives smokers to puff away even in non-smoking zones. Since there is no actual smoke or combustion, there is no fear of second-hand smoke or accidental fires. Another plus is that there is no chance of cigarette smoke getting on clothes or lingering in homes or offices. Cigarette breath and yellow teeth are also avoided.

A smoker who uses the electronic cigarette has accessories to choose from to enhance the experience. There are cases that are specially designed to carry them in. Since they tend to come with rechargeable batteries, there are chargers available for the user’s convenience.

E-cigs and accessories can be purchased online. This makes it easy to purchase them when needed. The fact that there are reusable types where only the cartridges need to be changed saves money as well.

Reviewing Emergency Cash Loans

Emergency is a word no one relishes or wants to hear especially when it comes to your health. A health emergency is costly, scary and many times we don’t have the extra cash to cover the expensive hospital bills. But the realities of life bring emergencies more times than not. Fortunately there are solutions in those times. Emergency cash loans are a solution that can act as a bridge from where an individual is, to where he or she wants to get.

A $500 boost can be all it takes to span a lapse between paychecks. Emergency cash is intended to cover unexpected bills or urgent medical needs rather than to meet an ongoing paycheck shortfall. There are fees associated with an emergency cash loan but it will likely be less than the late fees or bank overdraft charge that will occur otherwise.

The fees for the loan are a nominal amount of $2.50 per $20. When the borrower pays it back before or by the due date there are no additional fees. As life emergencies happen, though, the borrower may need an extension. That is also possible with an additional fee for the amount borrowed.

An individual can also maintain a line of credit. If the borrower elects this option then he or she will receive a regular statement to track the fees charged and the total amount owed. It is recommended that the borrower pays at least 10% of the original principal to assure that the amount owed is diminishing.

A Visa/prepaid debit card option makes withdrawals simpler at home or worldwide through an ATM. Another advantage of the card is that there is no monthly fee if at least $500 was loaded onto it in the previous month or the individual has had a credit line for the past three months.

There are three different ways to load cash onto the Visa/Prepaid debit card. The card holder can load by direct deposit, through a Money Gram location or through his our her online account with Emergency Cash Loans.
